Mayfre Pty Ltd was established in 2016 on the back of Matthew McKnight MayFre Pty Ltd’s Director wanting to persue his passion for building. Matthew first started in the building industry almost 30 years ago as an apprentice Carpenter & Joiner, he then moved onto working as an employee for Bob & Margaret Faulkhead and completed all the Joinery works for their Hotel Mildura Project over a 3 year period. Matthew then decided to open his own cabinet making business, which then Module Dezines was created and Established in 2005. Module Dezines is now a well respected cabinet making business in both the Sunraysia and Broken Hill area’s. Matthew owned and operated Module Dezines for 16 years and then in 2021 decided he wanted to persue his building passion on a full-time basis. Matthew obtained his Builders Licence in 2014, he completed a Certificate IV in Building and Construction attending TAFE one day a week whilst running his Cabinet Making Business, on completion of this course he then attended an interview and exam in Melbourne at the Victorian Building Authority to obtain his licence to become a registered licenced unlimited builder.
Since obtaining his builders licence Matthew has completed over 20 builds of both Speculative and custom builds for clients. All Mayfre homes are built to an exceptional standard and with Matthew’s background as a cabinet maker all measurements are to millimetre perfection. We pride ourselves on our reputable trades we use throughout the build and the continual communication between all involved to ensure the build runs efficiently, we have been using the same trades for all of our builds as we know they supply the highest standard we request of them and our client feedback reflects this commitment.
